Opinion about ATD.B-T: It is a growth by acquisition company and is disciplined about not over-paying. It ranks at an attractive level. The cost of fuel is a concern and where do they get their margins. Look elsewhere on an overall basis with consumer related stocks.

Opinion about MRU-T: Consumer staples have not kept up with the market, perhaps over inflation concerns. Politicians scream about the price of groceries, where margins are so thin.  He would continue to look at this. Are well-position in discount grocers through Food Basics where there is more and more business.

Opinion about GIL-T: A cheap, vertically integrated supply chain gives them an edge and moat. They grow by simplifying their products, optimizing factories and keeping prices sharp. This has expanded margins as peers struggle. Are a defensive play. Sees 16% upside. (Analysts’ price target is $92.10)
